Peabody Bookshop

Don Swan Jr. 1911-1998 The Beer Stube at the Peabody Bookshop. An original etching signed in pencil. Numbered 196/300. In 1933 Siegfried Weisberger converted part of his Peabody Bookstore in Baltimore into a beer stube. It flourished till 1954. It reopened in 1957 and finally closed in 1986.
